Recognize NF
NF is 'the largest small disease'. 1 in 3000 children is born with this hereditary neurological disorder.
Characteristic is the uninhibited growth of tumors on nerve endings,
which are located on the skin and deeper in the body. NF is very unpredictable and also means:
a lifetime of uncertainty.
NF (Neurofibromatosis) is still a relatively unknown disease.
This means that few people donate. While a lot of money is needed for research to find a cure.
Our job was to think about a concept to make this disease known.
Raise awareness and money.
Insight: The growth of the tumors in the face of people with NF causes the face to look different over time. As a result of this, the Iphone face-ID doesn’t recognize their faces anymore.
Idea: We will create a print campaign for NF in which actual people with NF, use an iphone to unlock which is still set to their ‘old’ face so it doesn't recognize them in their current way. This way we introduce people to NF. We’ll raise awareness so that people will start recognizing this disease unlike their iphones
